Remarks

In 2019 I applied for Ojee entrance and also qualified with a good rank. I sat in the counseling process for admission for MBA/PGDM course. And finally selected in Koustuv Business School for PGDM Program. After the counseling process, I went to the college for document verification and admission process. The administration was very cooperative and within 1 month our course started.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to go into the management field since childhood. As I have heard corporate jobs are full of challenges and challenges are the thing that makes someone a better person. That was also a reason for me to do this course. Our Program ratio was 60 students. And the faculties were well qualified and experienced. They have good teaching experience and they were very friendly and cooperative. Their teaching methods are really good. They really help us with our projects, assignments. And we feel fewer difficulties during exam time because the teachers are very thorough in their teaching.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Godrej, Neco Industries, Capgemini, HDFC, ICICI offered internships to our students every year. They mainly offered roles related to Sales, Finance, or HR during the internship. Students have to make projects about the company and their works and role in the company.

Placement Experience

After 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placement. There are good number of placements held in our college every year. Companies like Capgemini, Axis Bank, ICICI, Asian Paints, Godrej are organized for campus placement in our college every year. The average package offered to students is within 200000 PA. And the percentage of students getting placed is 80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college were decent enough and less compared to other Management Colleges in the area. A student can clear the fees in installments if he has any financial issues but within the course period.

Campus Life

There was two tech fest an annual fest organized during our batch. It was very helpful to us. And it was also a great time to enjoy our college life in a different way. There is a library in the college with a variety of books available there for students. They can issue the book and take it to read. Sports and other curricular activities are also there in the college. Students showcase their talent during annual function and sports day.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

IMI offers 100% placements. Companies like SBI life , Kodak, Taj Hotels , Infosys come. In the first year we are given plenty of placement preparation training. We have a committee particularly dedicated towards it. Be it quant, reasoning, gd all are being taken care of.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Entrance Preview:

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.
