Most affordable college BCA course in Durgapur

In Michael college first come first serve method is being followed. If you are from a Science background in your 12th then you can simply come to the college admission department and get yourself registered. The initial admission amount is to be paid in the college account by going to the nearest bank where the college is having their account. The college will provide you a fees payment book during admission and using that you have to pay the fees. Before Joining this college I got admission to Sonamukhi College in Physics honors. Then I got to know about the BCA course as some of my friends were there in the course in the same college. They told me to take admission to MMMC. So I dropped my plan to do Physics honor and continued to BCA degree from Michael College. I am from the general quota, so I didn't receive any facility. STEPS TO TAKE ADMISSION: 1. You should be from a science background (Physics, Chem, Maths) 2. After receiving the 12th Result, Contact the college asap. 3. Fees may have increased now.

The course curriculum was very old like it was 5 to 6 years before. I have chosen BCA because it was and it is the only technical bachelor's degree course available on a low budget. Course duration is 3 years. And one more reason to join BCA was to get into a job as soon as I complete the job. Our department had 6 faculties, 5 sirs and 1 madam. So the student-teacher ratio was 12:1 as in one class 60 students were there. All the faculty members were well educated and their teaching quality was well enough. Especially our HOD at that time, he is extraordinary. Though the college is not Autonomous so all exams are organized by Kazi Nazrul University. Generally, everything occurs in time but the university gives the results very late, that is the only problem I have faced.

Don't know what is the fees right now. But I studied the fees was approximately 86000 and exam fees are separate which you only have to pay in University portal. Fees distribution was semester wise as follows First sem: 16000 approx Second to Sixth: 14000 approx which makes together approx 86000. As the fee itself is low so I don't think you will receive any scholarship but yeah if any scholarship for quota is present, I don't know about it. During a job fair in our college in the year 2019, I got placed in Amazon. Though it was a non-technical role. The salary was 18000per per month but due to some issue, I didn't join.

Life in college was very awesome. The College area is very big and building too. In college, you can play cricket and football. The basketball court is there but nobody plays basketball. Volleyball is one more thing you can play in MMMC. Faculty members and all the office staffs are very supportive.
