AEC, A PLACE TO WING YOUR INNOVATIONS

AEC is good for those who want to explore without any hindrance and a place where talent is promoted from the beginning . its having a good infrastructure, ground and promote students in games , Hostel is the best part .The worst part is the inconvenience that a mechanical student faces when he is in final year as there is no core company for them so they have to opt corporate sectors. the management have to do something regarding this and final suggestion for the upcoming batches as DON'T OPT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AS THERE IS NO FUTURE FURTHUR.

I took West bengal joint entrance exam i.e. WBJEE in which i got 14092 rank through which i got admitted in Asansol Engineering college. As i am predefined that i have to complete my graduation in B.Tech so i didnot went for any other option. At the time of addmission they instructed to submit all my relevent academic certificates along with eye certificate , blood group certifate and health cerficate . the whole process took 5 day after that i got admitted where i want to study.

The course curriculum is quite good as they are introduced in such a manner that it can be recalled furthur but when it came to focus on research then in some department is not worth doing as they dont have the proper equipment to process certain experiment. for eg. when i was in 1 st year i got a experiment which have to done in totally black room but there is no sign of that that type of place there so my teacher just gave me the observation from his notebook and said its done.

No, my college didn't offer this facility as they don't know about it if it exists.As no any company came to offer internship to students then there is no chance to get stipend. but they gave .net training to the students for 1000rs which is not worth taking.

Placement is good in AEC as in 2016 aproxmately more than 60%of student got placed in various companies. In AEC THE COMPANY who came to recruit students are TCS took 261 student with a package of 3.3 lack, MINDTREE took 38 students with a package of 3.2 lakh,Johnson control took 2 student with a package of 5.2 lakh, Amazon took 8 student with a package of 2.2 lack , Coastal project Pvt Ltd took 16 students with a package of 2.8 lakh, etc

Fee structure is feasible as they charges 42000 rs per semester including soft skill training which is quiet good in reference with other college in the other states except madhya pradesh but it is also offering quality education with a good placement stats.

Loans are available for the student but only after 1st semester they have a collaboration with UNION bank of india and AXIS bank as they provide loans to the needy students without facing any difficulties.I dont know anything about the scholarship if there are any, but the procedure of loan is quiet easy as i have also taken a loan from there. they only take time in verification process and else is good.

Campus life is very good in the college as the students are very cooperative . gender ratio is 10:6 , student parties is availed only for the hostel boarders, there is a cultural society in the college named KASAR which is very good and active in their work. no gender politics is there ,ethnicity issue is there but only in the name of bengali and bihari and its quiet funny, extra curricular activities are very good as any time something is going in the college, bebates competion is organised by the Instiute of Engineers is is worth taking.

In AEC hostel is a place which is worth experiencing as its the best part of the college premises facilities are very good in hostel includes 24*7 WIFI electricity, hot water from geyser, fully furnished room , clean floors , clean bathroom , clean basins , sounding localities . a room in hostel is shared by two students with a fully furnished balcony and goods, there are a lot of room in the hostel so there is no need of PG's , very few student opts for it in hostel lodging cost 2500 rs /month and fooding cost 2200 rs / month which is quiet cheap in reference with the others. The quality of food is moderate but precaution is taken when it came to cleanness.

ALUMUNI network is not that good as they in touch with few students and and they are not cooperative too. but when it comes to senior student it contrary as they are ready to help you in every productive step of your life if they know you. when i got admitted in the college i was stuck at my hostel gate by the senior as they wanted to know my name and played prank on me afthe that they helped a lot to me.

Exam structures are good as our semester took place in the start of december and in the the start of june . and there are four internal examinations are there which is taken without prior notification i.e the notice came just a defore examination. exams are not frequent so its cool for me in any circumstances.

Asansol Engineering College is known for its quality educations . the faculties are well equipped with the knowledge to teach their students in their subjects . faculties of mechanical engineering , mathematics and information technology is very good . faculties of humanities department is also good but they act oversmart in front of the student. and always main a difference with other branches inclusive of students.
