Overall good

I applied for YMCA and GJUST for Computer Science. I got my name in the first MERIT list of GJUST. They roll out three merit lists and after that, they organize the physical counseling. But As I got my name on the first list, I didn't need to join physical counseling. My admission process was smooth.

I have an interest in coding so I decided to choose this course. Few faculty members were Ph.D. holders and few were pursuing in my tenure. The teaching method is sometimes good. Term exams were so timely, there was no problem in having exams. Exams were moderately difficult.

I got placed in Daffodil Software Pvt. Ltd. and there I took the Intership. In that tenure, I got to learn some new techs - Web and App Development. PPL - Pet Online Shop. This was the practice project only.

After 3rd year, the Student is eligible for campus placements but with some criteria of respective company required. I visited TCS, Infosys, and Daffodil Software. I have got an offer from two companies among them named Infosys, Daffodil Software. But I joined Daffodil Software to increase my skills. Around 60-80% got placed.

The fees policy was constant in my tenure. Actually, it was around 57000/yr. I got a topper scholarship in my first year. It was the monetary reward of 7000. In my last year, I was eligible for attending all the placement drives (Campus or Pool). I applied for some companies like Infosys, TCS, and Daffodil, etc. Among those, I got selected in Infosys and Daffodil. I joined Daffodil Software for learning the tech from ground level with a stipend of 15000 for the first six months. There were criteria that if you got selected in any company then you won't be able to apply for another company until you are offered a minimum of double of the previous package.

They usually conduct Youth Fest every year in Oct/Nov. There was a library which has a lot of books you need and you can take any book for 15 days and after that, you will be fined 1Rs per day for every book. Classrooms are well settled. There is a sports complex, where you can play badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Gym, Cricket, etc.

Fans, Beds, Almirahs are provided in the room. We were living four students in a room but there are some hostels in which 2-3 students are allowed in one room. There is no foundation for entry and exit in the boy's hostels but in girls hostels, there are fixed timings. They charged us 32 INR for every meal as three meals per day have a cost of nearly 100. The meal was okay but they should improve it. There are few PGS and rooms near the University.
