Reasons to choose SBSC.

I am a sophomore pursuing Bcom(H) from SBSC and with all the exposure and experience I have received till now, I can assure you that, SBSC is one of the best colleges for Commerce education in the University of Delhi. The admission process is quite simple and is conducted by the University of Delhi. Fill the form when DU opens its registration form and then wait for the colleges to release their cut offs. If you opt for any reservation, get the paper ready and submit them all on the dashboard. Once you meet the cut off, you are sure to get admission. With placement cells and internship cells super active, SBSC boasts to provide students with one of the highest packages in the whole DU. We have big companies like Deloitte, Bain & Co., JP Morgan, coming for placements. Also, if you are someone pursuing CA along with BCOM(H), it is a great place to be. The college has great infrastructure and more than 40 societies. The crowd of the college is great too. Overall its NAAC A ranked.

The course is very simplified and teachers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly here. If there is someone who has changed their stream, they too can adjust really well. Every semester we have 4 papers. We have to submit assignment and do group projects which really strengthens our bond with other classmates and also help in developing the overall personality.

We have an internship cell that brings many internship companies and NGOs to our college. Not many are big firms. But to compensate for that, Placement cell brings big firms that provide students with great opportunities like GSM Deloitte, which gives students chance to get internships at Deloitte.

This is one of the best thing of our college. We have almost all companies who come and take students from our colleges. Bcom(H) students are the most one who are placed. Big 4 , Bain & Co., JP Morgan are some big names who come to our college. Deloitte is one of the biggest recruiters from our college. We have students who have received 20 L PA packages too. Avg package revolved around 6.5 L PA.

The fee structure like other DU colleges is very low here. We have to pay and approx of 7k for one whole year. We also have a student aids fund which says to help students but it does not help much. I too had applied for a scholarship but in spite of having a weaker financial background, I did not receive any financial aid.

Life at Campus is something that I can't be very sure of since all I have experienced in the virtual world. We have met and visited the college but very occasionally. Societies are very active here and I too am a very active part of many societies of my college like Rotaract, Hult Prize, Enactus, NSS.
