Remarks
Admission to IIMs is through the CAT exam. One needs to give an exam and GDPI. The exam is held in November each year. Candidates need to qualify for the cutoff as well as the sectional cutoff. If you clear the cutoff then there is a GDPI round, after which candidates receive offer letters from colleges for which they qualify. There is a team that will help you once you accept the offer letter. The process is very smooth and seniors are ready to help if any problem arises.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well designed and faculty members are one of the best in their field. Class is divided into a batch of four so, In each lecture, there are 40 -60 students. Doubts are solved in the class itself and there is an extra session apart from class to clear any doubt. Anyone can reach faculty members after the class. There are three-term in each year and mid-term and end-term exams are there. If anyone gives proper attention in class then he can easily pass in exams.
Internships Opportunities
Total 373 offers were made to students by 114 companies that participated in the process. Highest stipend was INR 3,30,000 and average stipend was INR 80,000 for the batch. Students were placed in different background. Training is provided to students which are sitting for placement.
Placement Experience
The placement of IIM Kashipur is very good and each year many new companies are coming to campus to hir students. last year 127 companies offered 268 offer to total 260 eligible students. Average package is 14.05 LPA , median package is 12.72 LPA, highest offer was 29.02 LPA. Top 10 % of students got an average of 26.05 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees of the course is INR 1542000. Banks are ready to offer you loan as you accept the admission offer. apart from scholarship offered by the Government of India there are many other scholarship that are offered on the basis of need, need cum mert, and merit by IIM Kashipur. Many trusts also offer scholarship to student. There are many paid live project and competitions. Also many companies comes to college to SIP and Final Placement and at the end all student got placed.
Campus Life
College life is amazing at IIM Kashipur. There are many places to visit near the college. Books and journals are available in a college library and classrooms are equiped with all modern techs. College has good sports facilities. There are many Club, Committee and Cell in the college for students can apply once the selection process starts.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided to every students. In first year, shared accommodation is provided and single room is provided in second year. rooms are quite large and spacious. The mess food is good and the registration process for hostels is easy but it is quite expensive.
Interview Experience
The topic of GD are related to current topics and sometimes from about the cadidates. the questions are general in nature. Some college help in preparation of GD from some team or club which comprises of students of IIMs.
