Vit ap college review

To get admission to VIT AP, we have to attend the viteee exam conducted by vit Vellore, and it is an online exam, which we have to take from authorised examination centres, we will get the hall ticket in our email id before 14 to 20 days before the commencement of exam, we have to pay 1400 for the application fee to apply for the exam, based upon the rank which we got we will be offered various courses in different campuses of vit, they are four campuses vit Vellore, chennai, Amravati, bhopal. To get admission into vit Amravati cse data analytics we have to secure a rank of around 35k to 55k based upon your rank you will be given a fee category of 1,2 or 3. Each exam Carries 20% weightage so 3*20= 60% weightage for written exams, the remaining 40% consists of labs and projects. The pass ratio is between 60 to 70% in each exam, due to open book, question paper level is difficult, hence students try their best to pass exams and about 60 to 70 students pass out of 100 in each exam, it may vary according to paper toughness and subjects.

Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS had given a lot of internship opportunities to the students Microsoft gave a stipend of 60000 rupees for its intern, whereas TCS gave an amount of 15000 rupees for its intern, with the highest being given by Microsoft for the role of the data analyst. Mostly the projects were developed by the students were related to environmentally friendly, health devices, software industry related and many more which featured them a lot of internships and job opportunities under various profiles in which they develop their respective projects.

From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. Almost 800 companies visited our campus during our placements mostly top fortune 500 companies visit our campus like Google Microsoft IBM Paytm Flipkart Amazon and Facebook Reliance Indian oil corporation and had offered almost 3600 jobs for students. The lowest package offered was 3.5 lakh per annum and the highest package offered was 33 lakh per annum with an average package of 8.5 lakh per annum, the highest package was offered by Microsoft for the role of data analyst whereas the remaining packages were offered by most software companies like Infosys TCS IBM for the role of a software engineer. Almost 85% of students got placed in campus placement sessions and the remaining students got internships. After getting my degree I want to do a job in a big corporate company related to my specialisation for the next two to three years after that I want to pursue my masters in a foreign university.

Each course has five fee categories 1 st cat- 180000 , 2nd cat - 280000,3 rd cat-35000,4 th cat-400000,5 th cat - 480000. Based upon your rank and the course you select you will require to pay the given fee category. You have to pay the same fee for four years, usually, there won't be any hike once the fee slab is given to you. vitopia is an annual fest held every year in February and big celebrities and singers are invited to entertain students. All books are available in the library, which is very huge and has a collection of various categories of books and an online library to access millions of other books. Classrooms are environmental friendly with fans and ventilation holes , projector, smart labs are provided in class rooms All sports like basketball, football, cricket, tennis, badminton and various indoor and outdoor games, gym are available for students for free of cost. We have various chapters and clubs and especially CSI CHAPTER is famous and has more than 500 members they have their csi@vitap website which is managed by students with faculty mentors for guidance.

The hostel room has one bed , one study table , one study lamp , chair , dust bin and cupboard to store items and a hanger to hang clothes .. The meal is average with mainly south indian and North Indian cuisine , with veg and non veg options , menu consists of idle , dosa , chapathi , fried rice , chicken biryani and various items. Hostel registration and mess registration is completely online , we have to select our meal and hostel room on vtop website and have to pay fee in online mode only..
