Remarks
I got this college in my counselling and joined it. I did not avail any quota for my admission. Yes, the marks and ages were discussed prior to the admission process. The admission process was not at all complicated. They verifies details and certificates of the school that I studied and verified all the necessary documents. By submitting all the initial fees and the necessary documents, my admission was confirmed.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were 8 semesters in my 4 year engg course. There were two internal tests of 20 marks in each semester including a viva before the semester exams. Exams were not too difficult if one had all the topics covered
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, the students were eligible for campus placements. companies like TCS, Cognizant, Promact, etc visited our college in placements. 30% go from college campusing. Rest got it from off campusing. My plans after getting a degree were to pursue with either my core company or any govt. job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure initially was 56000 then after that, it was 45000 for the two semesters and 47000 for the next two and 49000 for the rest. There were people on scholarships but I was not one of them. Campusing took place with some MNCs and small companies too.
Campus Life
Life at BBIT was good. They have an annual cultural fest called the Verve and A tach fest with all sorts of robotics competitions inter college. The library was full of books and journals for the students. Classrooms were equipped with necessary instruments and sports was encouraged by the college management.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was quite large and the college had two hostels. one for boys and one for girls. Fooding were average. Rooms were in fine condition with bathrooms attached and common. Every room had windows and fans in working condition. Registration of the hostel was done along with the admission process of the college.
