Remarks
I had applied for Kirori mal College. I had not availed any admission quota .Admission is based on the merit of class 12. I had applied for BSC chemistry (H) in which merit is made by marks of physics, chemistry and mathematics. I got admission in the third cutoff of 95%. I assure that u will get admission if you have more than 90% for obc , sc/st but for general your score must be more than 92.5%
Course Curriculum Overview
I had choosen this course because of my interest in chemistry and it has scope in the future such as u can join DRDO, IOCL, Any industry or further research. College provides the best teachers as they all are Ph.D. holders had done much research and they cooperate with students in all circumstances.We have semester-wise Exams after 5 and 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
We have team avenues that provide information about Internships through Whatsapp groups.They provide all the details in it such as stipend, letter of recommendation.The basic tasks in an Internship is networking, advertisement, sales etc.Team avenue has provided the highest stipend of 21000 and an average of 3000
Placement Experience
We have a fairly good placement cell. Last year +150 students was placed with the highest package of 21.5 lakh per annum by D.E. Shaw and average of 7 lakh.We have many other firms too like Deloitte,KPMG , brain and Company,BYJUS etc.Nearly 70-80 % of students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay an annual fee of 14965. We have many scholarship programs such as NSP And INSPIRE scholarships which are provided by the central government and the Department of science and technology.But we have to pay very high for accommodation.But College provide Internships in which we have high chance for a stipend too.
Campus Life
The feel and rush of the north campus is awesome we have an annual fest in which some celebs join and an awesome arrangement is there. We have a huge library in which all types of books are available basically. We have also several societies for students skill enhancement such as debsoc: the debating society,kavya: the civil society and many more such as music :for music
