Entrance Preview
I got a rank of 13523 in JEE and luckily got ECE dept in this college. They have got the best electronics and Computer Science faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course followed is WBUT syllabus which is pretty good. ECE dept syllabus is very specifically designed to crack jobs easily. Interview offers from different companies are provided to all students with cut off of 60% in all the academics. People scoring less also gets opportunities, but less.
Internships Opportunities
No internship is provided by the institution. But they give information to students where internships are conducted.
College Events
Four major events celebrated in college are Sports, Football, Basketball and ARCADIA. Sports: There are wide category of sports event organised by the college such as Sprint, Long Jump, ShotPut etc. Football: Inter and Intra college tournaments are organised yearly. Basketball: Inter and Intra college tournaments are organised yearly. ARCADIA: This is what we wait for the whole year. 3 days extended programme with different celebs and college buddies performing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
They charge very basic standard fee. Fees is 39000 for each sem. Now there is scope for 50% or 100% fee waiver based on the scholarship you can get. Given this one can easily make payments, also one can avail government provided scholarship as well. The rate is standard.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college used to provide 50% or 100% fee waiver to 10% of their students, based on certain criteria that the student has to maintain through out his or her academics over there.
Campus Life
TECH FIESTA: Technical battle. All other colleges were invited to grand tech fest. ROBtics was the main attraction here. Also other events such as FIFA, NFS, CODIESTA, STRUCTIESTA etc were part of this. The campus life was very good. Male feamle ratio was about 3:1
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are superb. They are cleaned regularly. WIFI through out the hostel was one the God's gift here. With a charge of 3000 per month this is the best one can get. For fooding they charged 1500 extra. The quality of food was pretty good and the costing was also ok.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network here will get you done through yoiur college life here. They assemble once a year to make a huge celebration.
Exam Structure
Semester bases exam pattern, twice a year. Moreover other internals takes place twice each semester. Also there is a back up plan for those who failed to perform in the two internals. They get chance to sit in the last internal that takes place just before final semesters. Best 2 of these 3 are taken.
