Remarks

Sri Venkateswara College is one of the best colleges at Delhi University. We have to fill an application form in the month of July and have to qualify for the cutoffs which are released in the month of October. The cutoff for reserved categories is lower than that for general category students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always liked maths since my childhood. Therefore I decided to pursue bsc maths hons for my graduation. The teachers of Sri Venkateswara College are talented and help you to understand the core concepts in depth. There are around 8-9 teachers in Maths Department. The exams are held after every semester. You can easily score good grades in each exams by studying 2-3 months before the exam.

Internships Opportunities

More than 200 internships are offered every year by different companies to the students of Sri Venkateswara College. Companies like Indigo Airlines, Bajaj Capital, etc provide internships for the students.

Placement Experience

Sri Venkateswara College provides a lot of placement opportunities for its students. You will become eligible to sit in the placement drive in your 5th semester. The average package is 5 lakh per annum and the highest package went to 16 lakh per annum. About 65 percent of the students in BSc maths Hons were placed. The rest of the students went for further studies. Companies like Wipro, KPMG visit the college for placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The course structure of BSc maths Hons is around 15k for every semester which is quite affordable. The total fees amount to just 45k for 3 years. There are many scholarships available for students. The information about the scholarships can be found on the national website for scholarships.

Campus Life

NEXUS is the annual fest of Sri Venkateswara College. Thousands of people attend this fest. There are many societies in Sri Venkateswara College for music, arts and culture, dance, debate etc. The library and the classrooms of the college are well ventilated. The library has a large collection of books. Sports events take place in the college over the entire year. There are many national-level players studying in the college. Overall you will enjoy the campus life of this college and you will make a lot of memories here.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game
