All you need to know about bsc in Ramjas

Admission is based on percentage marks in class 12th. For BSc, they consider only marks of physics, chemistry, and maths. The cutoff of college is usually very high like I got 95.66 % and used my obc quota then I got admitted in 2nd cutoff. You have to take all your essentials while going for admission.

I really liked the physics subject in class 12th so I wanted to explore more about this field. The student-to-teacher ratio is very bad like in my class there were 90 students we all studied together. The teachers are highly qualified and are doctors in their fields. Every teacher has a unique teaching style. Exams are semester based and you can pass them by studying 2-3 days prior to the paper.

In other courses like b com hons placement is very attractive. The average package is 6-8 lakhs per annum. You are hired as project manager, marketing head, customer services, etc. There is a placement cell in our college through via which you apply to various jobs.

There is no placement in b.sc physics Hons in whole Delhi university but there are many career aspects that you can pursue after this course like you can apply for Afcat, a scientist in isro or drdo. You can also do a Ph.D. and can become a professor in college. I will appear for SSC exams after completing BSc.

The fee of the college is very reasonable and cheap as compared to other universities. But if you opt for a hostel your average expenditure will be approx. 1lakh a year including mess. You can avail many types of scholarships like nsp., inspire and the college also provides scholarships from college student funds.

College fest occurs in mid-November to December start. The budget for the fest is very good like there are some performances by famous stars like Sonu Nigam, Honey Singh, etc. There is a library in college and all types of books are available there and you can easily borrow them from there without any charges. The college also has a sports quota through which many students take admission games like judo, badminton, table tennis and many more are available in college. There are many societies in college which are run by final year students some of them are debate society, dance society, art and culture and many more and there is a proper procedure to get into one or more.
