Remarks
Eligibility criteria were to have 86.5% or more (best four including one language) and there was no age restriction mentioned anywhere. In the first list cutoff was 86.5 for the OBC category and due to some reason I reached there after the second list through the cutoff was the same and then after reaching the college we were instructed to get a photocopy of all documents and then queued to verify the respective caste certificates(if applicable), after this again queued in the line where an official will check whether you are eligible to take admission or not, Original documents (Marksheet, Transfer certificate, character certificate..) were kept to verify. After submission of documents instructed to head to the library to get the link for fee submission. Paid the fees and take the printout for future reference.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my love and affection for mathematics. There were only 32 students in my class so it was quite easier for faculty to interact with individuals. Each faculty member is well qualified, Each having Ph.D. except two with MPhil. Pure mathematics faculty is fantastic there, they explain things in both bilingual mode and with easy-to-understand examples. Coming to Applied maths parts may disappoint sometimes because the faculty of Applied Maths is not as engaging as pure mathematics. Exams were timely conducted, Attending classes on regular basis and you can easily pass exams with good marks.
Internships Opportunities
To be honest there are almost none. Some internship opportunities are redirected through Internshala and third parties. Though there is a placement cell where you can enroll for any such updates. There is also a helpdesk available to get a solution to any problem.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is ranging between 15715 and 14500, In particular, for the first year it was 15715, for the second year 15000, and for the third year, it was 14560. These fees include examination fees as well, In some colleges at the time of examination, they have to submit exam fees separately. No scholarship/stipend was provided by the college.
Campus Life
Campus life is not as thrilling if you are looking for a great fest and tech fest because the annual fest named "FALAK" is comprised of performances by some random singers who are not popular among youth. The sports culture is very good in college because it has big ground which had a basketball court, cricket pitch, and football field. There are many social groups and clubs in college like Rotaract club, Nepathya, and many more.
