Remarks
After clearing my entrance test I attended the counselling session and placed my web options with 20 colleges. Then I got my seat in vaagdevi College of engineering. Intially I was wondering what was happening with me and with the time flow I got habituated with the rest.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a student of diploma I has to choose electrical and electronics engineering in btech too. Coming to the faculty they are highly qualified professionals who knows what to teach with the industry standards. They are very helpful and supportive.On a scale of 10 I would rate my faculty 7.Well about the exams,they are timely arranged and we have to prepare for them to pass out
Internships Opportunities
The college offers good internship programs but due to my negligence and which I got no interest in it I didn't done any internships. I have done yearly projects in the college with a couple of friends in my final year.
Placement Experience
The students can attend the placements from third year itself. They are also eligible for many placement programs organised in the college which they can be attended. There are many MNCs as well as good companies that tie up with the placement cell. There are around 65 percentage of students got placed in the placements during my academics. Since I didn't get placed in the campus I am still in search of good job.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was studying the fee was around 75000 per year in which I get the reimbursement of 35000 from the government and the rest I have to pay. The campus placements are arranged but not all the students get jobs because they only get companies from software background not to the core branches. So as I am from electrical engineering I didn't get placed in campus placements.
Campus Life
The college is good at cultural activities. They organize good events every month. When I was studying they organised silver jubilee function of the college and it was well organised and the students and staff got very well excited. There is a very good library in the college and the availability of books and journals is good. The campus has good play ground as well as an indoor hall. There is also a separate department for them called physical education department.
Hostel Facilities
There was no college hostel for boys there is only one hostel and that is reserved for girls. So boys has to stay in private hostel. The food hygiene and facilities in the hostel is below average. They are available at a walkable distance from the college.
