All about MIT-WPU

I applied for MIT-WPU and Lucknow University. I choose MIT-WPU because it has better placement records and a better curriculum. MIT-WPU has a better campus and facilities as well. I did not avail any quota for my admission. To get admission to MIT-WPU, you need to pass their entrance exam and then their one-to-one interview round. Once, you have passed both, your selection process is completed. After that, you will be asked for document verification, for which you will have to submit your attested copies of class 10th and 12th mark sheet, migration certificate, adhar card and birth certificate. To get admission to MIT-WPU, BCA Program you should have scored above 70% in your class 12. If you have scored above 80% on your class 12th and 10th, you may even avail scholarship for a reduction in your fees. The admission process for me was pretty smooth. They kept me updated with all the necessary information. They also maintained a proper comminucation with the help of mails and messages.

I choose BCA i.e., Bachelors of Computer Application because I wanted to build my career in the computer science field. But since I did not have maths in my class in 12th I could not go for BTech, so BCA was a good way to make my career with computers. Moreover, BCA from MIT-World Peace University has a broad curriculum to cover all the necessary and latest technological topics to stand apart from the crowd in Computer Science. The faculty here makes it so easy to perceive the concepts and the details. They even arrange guest lectures and foreign faculty for their students. They have 2:15 faculty:student ratio for the BCA program. The faculty is well qualified and experienced in the subject. The teaching method is very interactive and understandable. During the Covid scenario, they managed to maintain their quality of education in online mode as well. The exams and the assisments are taken from time to time to keep a check on the performance. They have a fixed schedule for all the exams and the assessment.

There are enough internship opportunities at MIT World Peace University. Many prestigious companies like Wipro and Deloitte take recruitments from the campus. It depends on your performance that you get paid internship or an unpaid one. It is necessary for you to make many projects in your course duration to get placed at a good and reputed firm.

For the BCA program, you will be eligible for campus placements in your ninth semester. MIT World Peace University invites many companies like Wipro, Adobe, Deloitte, etc. For the BCA program, the college has witnessed placements up to the package of rupees 4.5 Lakhs. You may go for internships or placements as well accordingly but for a BCA internship chances are higher. MIT WPU claims that 100% of students from the college get placed by the end of the program. After getting the degree of BCA I plan to go for my post graduation i.e. MCA. you may even choose to enter the management field by pursuing MBA from any preferred college.

The total fees for BCA from MIT World Peace University is around Rupees 1,60,000, excluding the hostel and convience fees. The hostel fees for MIT-WPU is about Rupees 1,40,000. This might sound very high at first as it did to me, but once you find out the fees for hostels and PGs outside which are even high, this will seem pretty obvious to you. So, all together the total expense may reach upto Rupees 3,00,000 for one year. Further, you may avail some concession in this fees under various scholarship programs such as Dr Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship, MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship, Scholarships for Rank Holders, Scholarships to Elite Sportsman, Scholarship Awarded to Wards of MIT-WPU/ MAEER's Staff Members, and some other scholarships. I have received a scholarship for my first year under "MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship". Basically, there are many options available for scholarships and waiver in the fees. MIT WPU also arranges campus placements for it's students with Companies like Wipro etc.

The Campus like at MIT-WPU is very interesting and motivating. you get many choices to join various clubs like Debate clubs, anchoring clubs, sports clubs, etc. I am already a part of the Anchoring club. MIT WPU also arranges many fests and competitions for its students including many marathons, and coding competitions. They arrange motivational and informational webinars often on Saturdays. you will enjoy campus life a lot here. even the campus hostels have beautiful balcony views. MIT WPU is said to have one of the greatest libraries. It has almost all editions of and all types of books. Students can get them for their references.

The hostel fee for MIT WPU is Rupees 1,60,000. You can book your room with the payment of Rupees 30,000. Hostels are inside the college campus itself and with proper hygiene. The mess food is good. If you are not interested in the college hostel you may even book any PG or hostel outside the campus. There are many hostels and PGs available near MIT-WPU in Kotrud. You may visit as many choices as available and then decide accordingly. But you will not face many issues with your accommodation. I would suggest try to book your hostel rooms on the campus itself as they are affordable and good as well. you will not be troubled much for things like food, etc.
