Entrance Preview
I had to pass an exam by Christ uni which was an aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. I opted this course over others because it would give me a faster way to approach my aim. I chose this college over others because of the ranking it has.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is very helpful and in detail. You have to keep yourself dedicated to studying. Else the exams and the studying can be hard. The teachers are always willing to help. When you start working, Christ does have its ranking among companies so maintaining the ranking is important and difficult.
Internships Opportunities
The college would give letters for internships if requested. There is only a limit to how much you can push your students. So some initiative has to be taken by the students. Teachers would help if they are approached. There is a department for placements. You can talk to them.
Placement Experience
The placements were help before the final sem. Lot of companies came like GS, Adventure, EY, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The packages offered were about 5 lakh p.a. there was almost about 85% placed students. The faculty helped students get placed by training them and also by giving the unplaced students more priority.
College Events
This is a very active college with lot of cultural fests, educational fests, religious fests etc. All the fests are celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and happiness. The Onam and Christmas are celebrated widely. Followed by lot of other programs and dance and music.
Exam Structure
It was not hectic but that doesn't mean that you can chill out all the time. The mid semester exams are not to be taken. lightly and it is important. The mid semester exam is graded on 100 but only added as 59 to the end Sem. So end Sem exams are double effort and so does attendance count.
Admission
Form was available online. And then followed by Christ uni tests. The tests are mentioned above. The notification usually comes in April or earlier. You will have to keep track of that. The admin people are available all the time and you can just call them up and find out.
Faculty
Faculty was always very helpful. But you have to make sure you don't act smart in front of them. These faculties are also working elsewhere so they don't take any rubbish from you. Nor do they waste time so if your looking for a college to play around and chill, you might want to chose another course.
