Remarks
Applied to most IPU colleges for law, got into IDEAL, IPU & eventually made it in MAIMS, IPU in the last cut-off. Satisfied with my college. My rank in the IPU clearance was 3000. The admission process was rather smooth & not challenging at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great, Teachers could be better. The faculty is great & most professors are really fun to learn from. Although it's hard to score well in internals, external term exams have been challenging in a good way.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are great. Being in a legal field, internships are a really important part of your college life. The internship cell at MAIMS is really hardworking & makes sure all the students are left with great opportunities to pursue.
Placement Experience
I'm aware there are placements available to us once we graduate - I'm not sure how credible they might be- I personally am looking into getting a scholarship for my master's in Law from Canada to continue my education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees have hiked from the year i joined in my first year from 74,000 to 1,20,000 / year. Scholarships exist for top academic scorers of the batch, you can earn one after your first year at the university. However there are no jobs available on Campus.
Campus Life
There are a bizzare amount of fun clubs to join - from the top of my head - literary society, fashion society, dance society. The uni is active with fests & puts an effort too. As far as the infrastructure is concerned- the restrooms need a little work but the classrooms are great. There is also a field & a basketball court on campus adjacent to a viewer stand.
