Remarks

I haven't applied for any other colleges because I was already prepared to take admission here. The admission criteria is the same as other colleges like minimum 60% marks in intermediate level with Maths as a compulsory subject in Intermediate. The admission was simple. I submitted the required fees to the department and my admission was done.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for this course as I have interest in Computers since my childhood and want to make my career bright in this field. The faculty is average, not so good not so bad. The strength of the class is about 50-55 students in each section. The teachers are quite qualified but not every teacher teaches to much extent. There are semester exams held every six months with two sessionals as well. It's not hard enough to pass the semesters if one has good preparation.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like CEDCOSS , TCS, WIPRO hire students for different roles in their respective company. The roles differ from student to student from web developer to the software engineer and many others.

Placement Experience

3

Students are eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. They can register themselves to the companies for the pre-placement offers and are hired after the end of the course. Many companies visit the campus such as Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Cedcoss, and much more. The highest package until now is 28 lpa and the average is about 2.5 lpa. I have a plan to do a Master in Computer Applications rather than taking a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for the year is divided into two parts, 40000 per semester. Students can apply for scholarship as well. One who is unable to submit the fees can also opt for the loan facility. There are companies that visit the campus to hire the students and also give pre-placement offers.

Campus Life

3.5

Here is a function which is organised annually, named, Utkarsh. A large number of students take part in this function to flaunt themselves. A huge library is available for students and for faculty as well to study and the books can be issued too. There are a great variety of books for every stream. Competitions are held from time to time to enrich students' extracurricular activities such as sports, dancing, singing.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology - [BBDIT], Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]
Reviewed on Apr 7, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
