Remarks
Only bad part about my college is the administration part. Lot of time of wasted in dealing with the admin people.
Entrance Preview
I had given IIT-JEE, BITSAT, CEE & AIEEE. Secured 13000 rank in IITJEE, 279 marks in BITSAT, 1200 rank in CEE and 15000 rank in AIEEE. Since my rank in IITJEE was not very good, I joined Delhi Technological University (as it was the best possible option available at that time) through CEE counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall I was happy with both the course curriculum and faculty of my college. Course structured was design in such a way that it included both physics and electronic part.
Internships Opportunities
Although college provides interniship, most of the students had to search for internships by themselves. Few names companies name that came on-campus (I could remember) is Goldman Sachs, Royal Bank of Scotland, CSC.
Placement Experience
Almost 100% placements were there. Around 100 -120 companies visited our campus. Average package was around 4-5 Lacs. Comapny names : TCS, CSC, RBL, Goldman Sachs, EXL Services,IBM.
College Events
Every year there was a cultural fest, technical fest. Apart from these various workshops were held every 2-3 weeks. I also organised various workshops and technical events under the technical fest called "AURORA".
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was very norminal at that time. Around Rs.25000/- was the annual fees. Although I was a day scholar, I will give 8/10 to the hostel facilities and mess food keeping in the mind the low hostel and mess fees.
Campus Life
In my batch, boys to girls ratio was 5:1. Overall in the college I think boys to girls ratio was 3:1. Vast diversity was there as people from all across from India had taken admission in DTU.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the seniors were helpul. Alumni network was not quite active at that time.
Faculty
Talking abot the faculty, 80% of the teachers were having PhD as their qualification. Also at my time around 30-40% new teachers were hired which I think was not very knowledgeable in their field.
