Remarks

The admission process was quite good arrangements for admission were very comfortable. On the counseling day, we have chosen the colleges as per our decision. On the counselling day, teachers handle us in a very good manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had an interest in Electrical that was the main reason to choose this course. The faculty in this department very politely handle the students. They were available at any time to clear our doubts. In the EEE department most of the faculty members are completed their PH.D. One month once internals will appear. It was quite easy to score marks.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 4480 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have to choose the company to internship from everywhere in Tamilnadu. Projects and outcomes based on Electrical, Electronics, and IOT based projects will be quite easier to do and easy to explain.

Placement Experience

7th semester are eligible for campus placements. Popular companies like Accenture visited 1 offer provided. 3L per annum to 4L per annum companies visited. 60% of students getting placed. Higher studies or job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was stable in government colleges that were 6000 college fees. The scholarship they provided was First graduate scholarship and caste-based scholarship for SC and ST. Then Farmers Scholarship was also provided. So many companies make an On-campus drive in our college.

Campus Life

Department fest like Synergy, Electrofest, Comcom, Comnet in the month of March and September. All kinds of books are available in Campus Library some of them are Gate Exam books, Every Department subject-related books. In Classroom Light, Fans, Projectors are available. Sports and Extracurricular activities on the campus are Chess, Shuttle, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Carrom board are available. The social groups are Rotract Club, Etrics Club, Tamil illakiya Mandram, English Literature Club, Dance Club, Music Club.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel water purifier is available, lights, fans, 24 hrs electricity, and water facilities are available in the hostel. Meal quality was so good and hygiene and menu were good. Registration for Hostel was during the college admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I chose this college because I am a resident of this city Salem and wanted to be a day-scholar. This college is also NAAC accredited with A+ grade and also stands as the higest graded government engineering colleges in the whole state of Tamil Nadu. The transport facility for reaching this college is also easy for me as there is availability of college bus which goes around the city to pick up the students i.e. the dayscholars all around the city. I didn't get any rejection from any other college because I got this college in my first round of counselling itself and so did not go for any other options and was not rejected by any. In tamilnadu, government school may have some sort of issues in the parents' point of view. But their point of view to the government colleges is really high when compared to private colleges.
