Remarks
Admission happens through the common portal by the Maharashtra Government. We have to apply for a branch and college. After I got the seat I went to college for admission. After two days I had to pay the full fees and my admission was confirmed. Overall it was smooth and not very much stressful.
Course Curriculum Overview
Term exams are conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University. They are of medium difficulty. Don't underestimate and start working from day 1. Passing is easy but scoring good marks is a bit difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internships on campus are close to none. But you can apply offline on different sites like Internshala and all. You can opt for internships off-campus on different company sites. But college will not bring companies for internships.
Placement Experience
Campus placements start in the Final year only in the seventh semester. Companies like Persistent, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Winjit come for mass hiring. The highest package is around 9 lakhs per annum by Ugam Solutions, lowest is around 3 lakhs. Around 75% of students opting for placement get placed. Although the package is not very lucrative you will get placed easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided by the government as the college is partially funded. For OBC half of tuition fees is paid by govt. For SC, ST category fees are very less. Job is provided in library only and it is for economic backwards only. You can earn 2-3k monthly.
Campus Life
For first year students, there is a different club called Aarambh. Second year onwards there are dept wise clubs for students. Also inter department competitions are held annually for all sports and educational activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is available only for girls and not for boys. Girls hostel is good, safe. I guess food quality is also ok. Registration is easy. Just have to be in the Institute and fill a form and pay fees. Also, private rooms are available.
