Govt engineering college life

This is govt Engineering College, so if you wants to take admission to this college you will have to paper for a common recruitment test conducted by govt of Maharashtra Called CET exam. That exam is based on your class 12 syllabus. You will have to score 80 to 90 percent marks in that CET exam then than then you can get admission to this college. Everybody intended to take admission to this college , because the college is govt college and fees is too less so any backward class student can pay that fees. And an engineering degree is of four years. You have to fill the CAP round Form after the result of your CET exam. In the preference form you have to add 20 colleges but if you intend to take admission to this college add this college on top priority. If you have enough marks then you get admission to this college.

This college comes under Sant Gadge baba Amravati University, they follows semester Pattern in every year there are two semester. I chose computer science branch for engineering because I am technosavy i m more interested in how computer works. What are it's functionality so I took this branch. Engineering is not that difficult if you study everyday you will definitely pass the every exam. Faculty members are well qualified in this college. They give more Emphasis on practical Knowledge rather than theoretical. So I likes my college very much.

Our college also offers internship opportunities to students who are interested And aslo provide a platform to students who are interested to do. And also provide them a reasonable stipend. Which helps students to take knowledge along with the money.

From 6 th semester of your degree, you will eligible to appear for campus interview provided that you have successfully meet the criteria of that company. Many MNC companies visited our college such as TCS, Infosys, wipro and many more. They took an aptitude test if you pass that test then you have to go for interview the process is so simple. In our college 50 to 70 percent students gets placed in Campus Placement. I decided to get Placed in Infosys company while I was in 2nd year of my engineering but I got selected in TCS that time.

As I already mentioned this college is govt engineering college here you can't take admission by giving lumsom donation. The fees structure of this college is decided by govt every year when I took admission to this college that time I need to pay only 30k as I come in obc category. But if you belongs to general category you will have to pay ithink around 50k. Govt also gives scholarship to sc , st and obc category student. Which is somewhere around 50 percent of ur tuition fees. College has tie up with many MNC companies they comes every year to take interviews of students. When students are in 3rd year or in final year can appear for interview.

When you take admission to a college which is govt engineering college everybody looks at you as you got the job and your life is set. College is situated in heart of amravati city, transportation is easy, bus stop is near by. College campus is so big as it is government college. Play ground is there. It has huge library where you get magazines , reference books and your college books too. College also organize sports fest and youth fest , college takes care of all your extra curricular activities.

For accommodation purposes, the college has a well-built hostel and it is separate for every year students. And hostel fees is affordable to every student as it is only 10 k for a year. The hostel registration process is so simple just you have to fill up the form at the time of admission and have to pay 10k for your first year. It also has a separate mess for every hostel. And meal quality is average.
