SRMEEE -got a 60 percentile and I opted for this college as the college has a very good atmosphere and freedom to express ourselves.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good compared to low grades college but least compared to good colleges like Anna university. If you see my course , I m into ECE , the subjects in it are very easily accessible. We use the library frequently for research purposes. Also the labs are always available for students in the college hours for studying purpose.
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know , they don't do internships. But placements are confirmed for the students who apply for a job. If you see about placement all sorts of companies come up and give jobs to almost all the students. Internships to be specific are not available to the students .
Placement Experience
Infact many companies like CTS, Infosys ,TCS and also companies like VISA, mu sigma,and L&T came for giving jobs to students. They give a salary package of 3 lakh to 15lakh per annum . About 85 percent of the students gets placed every year.
College Events
We had lots of events and our college used to conduct them every year .MILAN ,Aarush and many sorts of events are conducted. They conduct them fabulously that many students from different colleges come and participate in them .it will be like a 100rs registration per head for the entire event .
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was less expensive than the fees structure they are having now . Now they pay around 4 lakhs per annum for a seat. The fees structure when I was a student was 1.5 lakhs per annum. Now it has drastically increased. So it is really expensive now a days.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes , they do give scholarships for the persons who get 90 percent in 12th or 85 percent in the Entrance exam . It depends , sometimes they give 75 percent scholarships or it may come down to 50 percent too. Loans are not provided by the college but we can avail loans in the city union bank which is affiliated to the college.
Exam Structure
Sometimes it is hectic and sometimes it is chilled , it all depends upon the course in the semester .They keep exams every month . For example if a cycle test is conducted this month , next month again cycle test 2 and the following month , model exam and in between lab exams and finally the 5 month , semester exam.
Faculty
They were really good. In fact , they were really supportive in turns of academics and help me in my studies very well. They were all PhD s and infact all the teachers would be helping till the end of the college. My project work was encouraged by my faculty and she had helped me with the total project work and get a good grade.
