Remarks

I applied only for a single college for BAF and the cut-off for this course is 75%. The admission process is much easy and more online. Fees payments are online and we just need to visit the college for submission of documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course as I was good at accounting. Faculty are always ready to help students. The qualification of the faculty is good enough and many of them have done Ph.D. The teaching style is very good according to my experience. They make things very clear. For BAF I prefer this college to everyone as all the faculties are up to the mark. Exams level is moderate. In 1 semester there is 1 unit test and 1 final exam.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Insurance company offers internship for the role of marketing and selling their product in the given stipulated time period. It used to be task-based and we need to sell those number of products to the clients.

Placement Experience

2.5

While studying there are many internships opportunities provided by college. Career guidance cell also invites different institutions to guide students about career and offer different courses after graduation. After the course the average salary is Rs. 15000 per month. My plans after graduation is to prepare myself for government exams related to nationalised banks.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for this course range between Rs. 25000 to 30000. This is an average cost for this course and the college has many more other facilities like the library, etc. I have not opted for any scholarship but they provide scholarship to the students having need. Job from campus provides approx. Rs.10000 to 15000 stipend.

Campus Life

3.5

Intercollege fest name is Antarang and it is held in the month of august and annual fest name is chakrawvuya is held in the month of December or January. The infrastructure of classrooms and overall college is perfect. It is a pleasure to learn in this college. Library provides a huge number of books, magazines, newspapers, etc to read and even they issue books for a week to the student on their library card. There is a good scope for the students active in sports. Sports week is also conducted every year and most of the indoor and outdoor games are included. There are different clubs like eager beaver club for share market, etc

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
