Remarks

Anyone with more than 50% score in undergrad is eligible to apply. IIFT have special exam conducted by NTA. Shortlist for GD PI will be released by calculating a composite score taking into account of IIFT score, 10/12/UG scores, work ex, and diversity criterias. This year, WAT and GD were cancelled due to covid scenario. Admission was based on IIFT scores and PI scores alone.

Course Curriculum Overview

IIFT provides Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business specialisation. Its a unique course with exposure to trade and international business domains along with regular MBA curriculum. Faculties are very good. Trade faculties are the best in the country

Internships Opportunities

Summer Intenship for year 2020 was concluded succesfully with most number of offers in Sales & Marketing domain followed by Finance. The average and Median stipend were 1.61 Lkh and 1.5 Lkh respectively.

Placement Experience

IIFT have 100% placement record for both Summer internship and Final placements. Average and median package for last year final placement were around 21 lakh and 20 lakh respectively. Many top companies both domestic and International visits IIFT for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

IIFT fees for 2 years including hostel fee will come around Rs. 22-23 Lakh. There are some scholarships too based on different selection criteria. Most banks would lend collateral free loans for fee payment.

Campus Life

IIFT campus is in the heart of Delhi. Campus is relatively small but it hav almost all basic amenities including hostel, Gym, BB court etc. College has an extensive collection of books, journals and access to various websites and portals at it library.

Interview Experience

Due to covid scenario, IIFT didnt conduct any Group DIscussion this year. WAT was also scrapped. PI questions were mainly related about Undergrad subjects and Work Ex. They were asking quite a few questions on General Awareness too

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

IIFT:- THE MOST UNDERRATED BSCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY

I chose iift because of the following reasons 1. It's one of the oldest Bschools in the country which makes it having one of the strongest alumni bases. 2. The location of the college is actually great , surrounded by Sanjayvan and also in the heart of delhi. 3.It was very near to my home to commute was very easy 4.The fees is a bit less as compared to top IIM's. 5. Placements are at par with some of the old IIM's. 6. The roles for finance and are at par with IIM Calcutta. I applied to mdi, wasn't able to make it there because this year they had some mishap in the admission process in which they gave admission to more number of students than the number of seats available. I got admission via IIFT's exam where for general the cutoff was somewhere around 98%ile for Delhi Campus and 96%ile for Kolkata Campus. The application was available on IIFT's official website which remains active for around 4 months i.e from Sep to Dec. It costs around 3K for general students opting for MBA-IB. Eligibility - Minimum 3 years UG program from a recognized institute with 50% minimum score. Journey in a Top BSchool

I took the IIFT entrance exam. Got around 96 percentile. Then there was the Extempore and PI round. All information was available on the website. I come from an EWS background so got that quota.
