The IIM in the North

Admission was done by CAP process where 11 IIMs take part for admission of students. - Eligibility for the exam is one must be graduate in any stream to sit for the CAT exam. After that shortlist for the interview & GD will be done on the basis of scores one achieve in CAT. - Anyone can find the form in Google search. Once one person search CAT exam, the site will be appeared. After that that person can go for further process. - Benefits of Reservation is the cut off is little bit lower than the general cut-off. - No improvement. Process is smooth.

Actually, I was more inclined towards MBA as it gives more opportunities than any other field. Thats's why I choose MBA. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:26. Faculties are highly educated and they are well known in their field. The terms exams happen here on time. No delay, nothing. If one studies what has been taught in the class, that person can easily pass in the exam.

Many companies visit for internship. Around 114 companies visited and 373 offers were made. Highest stipend was 3,30,000 per 2 month and avg was 80,781. Theses companies are highly reputed and provided good projects to students also which is highly industry relevant.

Placements is good. 100% placements happen every year. For the final placements, students during 4th term eligible to sit in placements. Around 127 companies visited and made 268 offers. Highest CTC 29.02 was offered and avg CTC was 14.05.

The fees structure is normal. As it can be availed by bank loan, so students normally don't face any issues. For the scholarship, IIM Kashipur has scheme of providing full fee waiver to 20 meritorious and financially weak students. Apart from that different central govt. schemes also provide schoalrships to SC/ST students

Life at the campus is very interesting and exciting. Campus is wholly run by students. There are 37 clubs, committess and cells present in the college. They organize different events throughout the year. They organize different workshops for the students also. The annual and tech fest is best in the north region of India. Whole college get involved in this. It is like going festivals in the college. Library is fully plenished with books and journals. To help students during Covid, college started e-library for the students. Class infrastructure is too good. Fully digitized, with new furnitures and everything. There is one sports event happen here where whole northern IIMs take part and it's a flagship sports event of whole north India. In a nutshell, campus life is too good.

Hostel facilities is also good. First year students have to share the room with one another student. Second year student is given single room. WiFi lan wire, table, chair, bed, cupboard is given in the room. Overall room is good. Meal quality is good. Here menu is changed once in a month. Every month, new menu. Menu is prepared according to the students demands. Hostel is alloted by administartion itself. There is no need to apply individual for this. Every student take hostels. So, no idea about day scholars.

Yes. I faced only personal interview in the admission process. There was no GD. The whole process was conducted online due to Covid. I prepared for the PI normally from google. Apart from that I took help from the seniors who are in college now. They helped me a lot.
