ADTU B.sc biotechnology

The admission was swift, there were no entrance exams, for eligibility you have to have 10+2 with science with a 45% score in PCB. The application form for admission is present at the official website www.adtu.com generally admission starts at the end of the academic year. There are reservation benefits too for sc, st and obcs.

Biotechnology is the subject I chose because it's a practical based subject where you study the use of technology in the field of biology, from vaccine development to genetic modification this field is very diverse. The faculty are good they are very learned and help students a lot in their academics. Most all the facilities are Ph.D. holders with experience in biotechnology so the experience of learning is great.

There are not any specific companies for biotechnology fields for campus placement. So you need to go for post graduate or to some other field like marketing sales etc corporate jobs. In the final year of the course, you need to submit project where you spent most of your time in the laboratory.

The campus placement is decent with different companies coming to campus. The placement Percentage is around 30% so it's not that great. B.sc in biotechnology is not enough for getting a good-paying job so I am going to go for MSc in it.

Being a private University the course fees is expensive. The semester fee for biotechnology is 40000 per sem. The course is of 3 years which accounts for the sum of around 3 lakhs as it includes admission fees registration fees and all.

The campus life is great there is a fest every year where big singers perform recently this year Mohamad Irfan was there. In 2019 fest darshan Raval performed. The library is big with all kinds of books there. The campus has a swimming pool, basketball court, a cricket field, an indoor badminton court.
