Remarks
Students have to take the JEE MAIN entrance test, then the college issues the cutoff list in the month of June-July every year, and according to the rank in the exam, students are awarded different courses and streams available in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The electronics and Communication stream has the largest syllabus among all the other streams. The course is a 4 years professional course with 8 semesters. In each semester we have mid-term and final exams and practical and viva exams for practical subjects. The teaching faculty is experienced and really helpful, all professors have at least a master degree and some also have a PhD. The male to female ratio is 1 girl:10 boy. Subjects are completed within a defined time with all notes and assignments.
Placement Experience
College provides a lot of placement opportunities to the students. Companies start coming for placement from the beginning of the 6th sem till the end of the 7th sem. Companies offer a package ranging from 3.5-12 LPA with training. The average package is 4-5 LPA. On average, up to 80% of the student got placed and most of them are CSE/IT/ECE students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the B.tech is 440000 for the 2018 batch and students have to give fees yearly at the beginning of the year in the month of aug-September. College provides some scholarships and financial aids every year for students having family income less than a certain amount, especially for girls.
Campus Life
College organized annual cultural and technical every year and a sports day of 2 days where students compete in different sports like cricket, football, volleyball, etc. The college has a big library where we can find most of the books and also have a seating arrangement within the library. Classrooms are well maintained, desks are of good quality and AC and projectors are installed in each room. College is a big ground where students can play cricket, football, basketball and volleyball, Table Tennis and a music and dance room with all equipment. College also has a gym but gym timing needs to change for good.
