Remarks

Yes , the portal of Delhi University is too laggy and is not too user interactive interface, and also it doesn't provide you real-time updates. It is always a bit slow. Also when there is some problem with the from. , The email you get sometimes is not clear, we don't understand actually what do we have to do . If they would provide phone number of someone to contact to , it would be great

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams were more or less timely. The delay or changes were +-10 days. The problem was with the exam form. Many things were not clear, so students always faced problems. The exams for BCom(H) were not so try hard to pass. Ant student who has attended the classes regularly and attended with complete concentration would pass easily. Moreover we had open book exams.

Internships Opportunities

Summer Internships at SRCC were yet another accomplishment with the number of offers increasing by 142% and Pre-Placement Offers soaring to an all-time high of 22 during the first phase. Highest Stipend during this period was a whopping INR 1.5 Lakh per month. Placements are not the only exit option at SRCC, with an increasing number of students continue to pursue post-graduate and other professional courses straight out of college including but not limited to Civil Services Examination, Chartered Accountancy, Actuarial Sciences and the like

Placement Experience

Shri Ram College of Commerce popularly known as SRCC of Delhi University has concluded its placements drive of 2021, and the Highest Package stood at INR 25 LPA whereas the Average Package stood at INR 8.3 LPA. This year, over 350 offers were made from the 100 recruiters and there is a record 32.34% increase in the gross value of offers this year. The institute is also conducting its summer internship placement drive for the 2022 batch and till now the Highest Stipend offered stood at INR 1.5 Lakhs and the Average Stipend stood at INR 34K and 22 Pre-Placement offers were offered. Some of the top recruiters including McKinsey and Company, Bain Capability Network, Kepler Cannon, Accenture Strategy participated in the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I am yet to get the internship. The internship season is going on and we sre given in a choice to apply for them. It is now online so we have to apply from an online app SuperSet which is a collaboration between Placement cell of SRCC and SuperSet

Campus Life

Actually SRCC is famous for its societies. Many are NSS , ENACTUS , COMMERCE SOCIETY , ECONOMICS SOCIETY , YOUTH PARLIAMENT , FINANCE AND INVESTMENT CELL . And all together they do provide an wholesome experience of real life situations .

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
