NSUT gives life to love and live.

I gave Jee mains and scored 60k rank, but due to obc certificate, I got ece branch in nsut in the year 2019. The admission process is easy, you just have to give jee mains and score good marks in it. JAC conducts admissions of four colleges in which NSUT is one. There are 7-8 rounds to fill all seats for every branch in every round. Now things are virtual because of the corona, and still good.

I was eligible for an electronics and communication course because of this rank. I didn't know much about ece back then but because I heard from seniors that placements In ece are good so I opt for this. For every 70 students, there are 4-5 faculty. Faculties are highly educated and reputed, some of them are even from IIT Itself. There are 2 class tests, 1 mid sem and 1 endsem and practical examination and many of the assignments in every semester. You need to start studying at least 2 weeks before exams to score a good cgpa.

There are plenty of companies there who come for interns, like Amazon, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Flipkart and many more like Adobe, these companies mostly come for software developer profiles or digital design engineer profiles. They give tasks and projects in a summer internship as well depending on their domain.

From the 7th semester itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Ninety percent of the companies come for software developer profiles. Approximately 70 companies visited campus last year and 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package was offered to students of batch 2016 of 1.25 crores. 12 lac is the average package offered. I might join any company or will look for higher studies depending on placements.

Fees is quite high though as compared to other colleges. It costs around 2lac per annum for every student. But there are scholarships too, if your family income is under 5-6 lacs per annum you can avail for it. If you score highest in class then also your fees gets low. Placements are quite good, average package is 12 lacs per annum, and 40-50 percent of students get internship.

Moksha Nsut is quite famous fest held in NSUT every year. Students from all over Delhi come and participate in it and win many different prizes accordingly. There are plenty of books available in vast library of NSUT of all subjects and genre. Classrooms are great, half of them have air conditioner in it. Huge stadium is there of all sports including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball. There are numerous societies for each and every domain from singing, to dancing, games, video games, debate and robotics also, and many more.
