Remarks
I got a seat in nmit college cse branch by kcet, My ranking was 9k so I got college easily. If you want to join by management that's also accepted but fees vary a lot I think it's around 3 to a lakhs. If you come from kcet the fee is 58806+30000=88806
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosen cse branch and also got a seat through kcet. The faculty was very good for cse I literally felt very good. The teaching method and the way of explanation of the concept is very good iam studying now in the 3rd sem.The exams are conducted as per vtu 3 internals,3 assignments, sem end exam. overall I felt very good about the faculty.I suggest you to take cse,is,ec in nmit
Internships Opportunities
They will provide more internships many top companies will come like Amazon, Wipro, etc I don't know much about projects and all because iam studying now in 3rd sem but you will come to know everything when entering 4th sem.
Placement Experience
As I know the placements for cse very good the companys mainly hire students from cse,is,ec,eee. Very less for machanical branch. The placements basically start from 5 or 6th sem about 85% of students will be placed in cse with an average package of 4 lakh annum highest package as per my knowledge 30lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
I got a seat in nmit through kcet in cse branch so my fees was fixed by vtu i.e 58806 and also additional fees of 30000 charged by college so total amount is 88806. I don't know about the scholarships that was provided by college as I know the government of Karnataka provides various scholarships based on caste and many more so you can apply those hardly you will get 20k for obc students.for sc st the college fees is 500 if he get seat through kcet
Campus Life
There are many events and functions are conducted by the college but now due to COVID, they are conducting those as I heard from my seniors that the events conducted grandley. I am also waiting for those days, The campus is very good with a pleasent environment greenery away from the city with no pollution. Good infrastructure with library facilities wifi and many more.many clubs are formed like hackathon,etc.
