Everything that you need to know!

You should have qualified in 12th grade. You can find the application form, fees and application dates on the official website of the university and the brochure they provide (both online pdf and offline copy). They shortlist your name in counselling and if your name appears in it, then you can take admission. The first few rounds are of online counselling and the last few rounds are of offline counselling. They really take a lot of time in counselling in offline mode. So this is one thing that they can improve.

I choose this course because I am interested in chemistry and I want to do some research in chemistry. There are around 8-10 teachers of different subjects in each semester, for 69 students in our batch. the ratio is good according to me. They all have PhD doctorates, and most of them are quite good at teaching. but all the teachers are kind and friendly. The exams are quite easy and end term exams are held every 6 months. Apart from that, there are internal and sessional exams as well which are taken throughout the semester from time to time.

From their 4th year, students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies such as Samsung, Oyo, etc. these companies approach here for lab work only but you have to get a masters degree to get a good package. Almost every student get a chance to get placements but they don't take it because the offers are not good according to them. I will choose to do further Researches in chemistry after getting this degree and after completing my masters.

The fee for this course is Rs. 55000/year. You can get a scholarship based on your 10th and 12th-grade percentage (one of my friends got a scholarship by the same) OR you can get a scholarship based on the govt. schemes OR by having a consistently good performance in every semester OR even if you are falling under EWS Quote, then also you can get a scholarship.

'CULMYCA' is the annual fest that is conducted in the month of March or April. Technofilia is a tech fest that also excites students here. The library is quite good, I must say. It is spacious, air conditioned, and has sufficient books, journals and research papers for every subject that one will need. The new classrooms are also very good, sufficient light, fully air conditioned, spacious and made in such a way that student can clearly see teacher and whiteboard from any desk. There are various sports played here which includes cricket, basketball, chess, badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, and many more. There are a wide range of clubs here, from sports club (eklavya) to music club (tarannum), drama club (Vividha), etc.
