Entrance Preview
There was no specific entrance exam which i had to write as the course i had opted was Bachelor of commerce(B.com) and more over i had done my PUC from Jain college and passed out by being one among the Top from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is good but the same is outdated, there are many concepts still being thought which in practical life have become redundant long back. Bangalore university should re-assess the course curriculum and teach graduates what is relevant in practical world.
Internships Opportunities
No, there is no such concept in the B.com curriculum of the Bangalore university. Therefore there was no concept of Internship.
Placement Experience
I m not aware of any job openings or placements being conducted, but the same were being highlighted in the news board of the college. I had heard about companies like google and Accenture coming up for placement for graduates with annual salary of about 4-6 lakhs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for B.COM here is expensive, as the fee was around 36000 a year when i had passed out which is quite expensive when compared to other colleges fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is scholarship or loan facility which the college offers as far as i know, they provide a discount on the college fees if you have scored well i.e above 90% in your PUC and only for the first year of college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is decent and they give enough time for the students to get prepared for the Final Bangalore universities exams. The college makes it a mandate to appear for Preparatory exams to be eligible to claim the Hall tickets for final, which bring the seriousness of studying in the student.
Admission
Admission process in here was simple as i was coming from the same institute (i.e my First and Second PUC) .Therefore they had all my records which are necessary for admission, i Just had to fill one form for the Course i wanted to opt for and pay the college fees.
Faculty
Honestly, Faculties do not teach the subject in depth, They just teach what is relevant for exams. I believe its the teacher who can draw interest of the student into the subject. Therefore when subjects are thought as concepts and connected with real life examples it draws the attention of the student.
