Eligibility for admission in BSc applied Mathematics is 12th with a minimum of 55% marks and have studied Mathematics. The application publishes on the official website of Jamia jmicoe.in and application fees are 650. application date is normally in April and May but after covid it is irregular and this year it was in August month. In Jamia there is OBC, Women ,Internal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Kashmiri Migrant Reservation. Admission process is good but they should take fees Online.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in Mathematics and I want to research computers and Mathematics. Our Faculty is Faculty of Natural Science and it consists about 12 departments my department of Mathematics is one of them. ratio is 10:1 Faculty teachers are very supportive. during my first, we were taught by research scholars mostly but in 2nd year we have professors. There is 2 assignment in each semester and semester exam. passing the exams is depend upon you and how seriously you attended the lectures and made notes.
Internships Opportunities
TSC, Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, etc usually come for the placement. package of the technical courses is basically very good. the average package of btech courses is 10lpa. the best packages mostly received by MCA students as MCA of Jamia is best .
Fees and Financial Aid
there is no fees hike policy as i never heard about it. And cost of study is very low and affordable. Jamia provides many scholarship. 1. Azmi scholarship(given by old jamian) 2. JTA Scholarship(given by teachers) 3. scholarship for women. and many more I didn't apply any of them but my classmates received aazmi and JTA
Campus Life
Jamia campus life is the 2nd best campus life after JNU. University conducts annual fest and fresher parties. Zakir Hussain Library provides almost every book of the course and competitions like gate, UPSC, cat, etc. sports facilities are very good here. you have to get admission for the sports. there is a big stadium beside the campus.
