Honestly review

The admission process is through Jee main rank. Colleges and branches are alloted on the basis of ranks through jossa counselling process. We have to fill our preference choices with branch and college. The better our rank is, the high probability it is to get our topmost choice. There is also a reservation system for obc, sc, st and ews candidates. After jossa counselling there is csab counselling process also, it depends on you if you want to participate in it, it is optional, but there's the probability that you can get a better choice. The admission process is simple.

I chose this course because I found it interesting and my college is also good. The course is actually very interesting and the teachers are very supportive in nature. There are almost 50-60 students in each class, so the faculty: student ratio is 1:60. All the teachers are highly qualified and each one has a unique teaching method that is very effective. Students understand everything very easily. Time to time quizzes are also held and assignments are given in each class for which the deadline is upto the next class. Time table for the whole sem is fixed, all the midterm exam and endsem exams are always on time, not a difference of single day!

The internship opportunities are not much good, but they are okay. I do not have much information about the internship opportunities. There are many companies who visit during third year of college for internship like Amazon, etc. The students get a good chance to get placed in these top companies.

From the third year onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Very big and good companies visit our college and provide good opportunities to students. Most of the students get placed during campus placements. I am also planning to get placement after getting the degree. The highest package last year was 40 lakhs to ece student by Amazon company. The average package is almost 6-7 lakhs. For greater than 8 cgpa students the average package is 8-9 lakhs.

The fees of this college is very high. I have to pay a huge amount of fees during each sem. There is no scholarship opportunity for general students, this is the most negative part of this college. However, for other students like ews, fees is very low almost one-third of total only! For students whose parents annual income is less than one lakh there is no tuition fees, this is very good but I am unhappy for general students because there is a large difference between general and EWS students fee structure, so the cost of study for them touches the sky!

The annual fest of my college is sparsh and the annual techfest is Mindbend. Mindbend is Gujarat's largest techfest where students from different colleges come and gather. There are very good sports facilities also. Large grounds for football, volleyball and cricket, badminton courts also available. Too many extra curricular activities are also conducted, different social quizzes with cash rewards. There are many social groups also run by students like kirdaar, Renesa, Convex, Malang, Raag, etc for acting, painting, photography, dancing, singing, etc. Many other cultural groups are also present. Hindi cell for the development of our mother tongue language. Overall there are a lot of opportunities for students.

The hostel facility is also available in our college. For girls hostel, during first year there are double-seater rooms and second year onwards all the girls are provided with single seater rooms. The rooms are very good, big and spacious. Each room has a balcony in it. The mess food is very good overall, foid is prepared in a hygenic way, and very rarely eggs are also given. Registration for hostel is generally with admission process only.
