You can get admission in B.E. course through ACPC counseling on online mode & verification is offline mode. For this, you must be cleared the Gujcet entrance exam with above-average marks. For ME and M.Tech, you must need to get cut-off marks in the GATE examination.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty of LDCE is very talented and experienced. They give us theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Faculty are good at behavior and do not angry without any reason. They also help in our college issues as well as a personal issues. The faculty of the college is good.
Internships Opportunities
LDCE(or any other college in Gujarat except nirma & DAIICT) doesn't have any provision for internship placement season. So you have to find internships on your own with the help of relatives, friends and seniors. Only Reliance Industries limited, Jamnagar come for internship recruitment which allows mechanical, chemical, textile, rubber students.
Placement Experience
The placement of LDCE is excellent. Most of the students are placed in the above years. Due to Covid-19, the placements in our chemical branch are very less this year. 11 students got placed out of 70. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA by Cairn Oil and Gas. Top recruiting companies are Atul, Adani, Tata Chemicals, Accenture, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
LD College is a Government college, so the fees of the college is very law. Fees of college for boys is around 1500 and for girls and two student fees is 0. Total fees including library fees and other fees is around 3000 -4000 per year. Due to these law fees, a poor student can easily complete graduation without facing any financial problem. You can get a scholarship easily around 10k-20k per annum.
Campus Life
The campus of ld college is very beautiful and eco-friendly. The campus is very big. In college, there is 80% boys and 20% girls. Though the college environment gives gender equality. The classroom's conditions are good. There is a good Wi-Fi facility, Average labs, good classrooms and a Library available in my college. Food is best in our mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games all tools are all available in my college.
Hostel Facilities
College has boys and girs hostel. Hostel quality is average. Hostel has mess, sport-ground, librery, etc. Food quality of mess is very good. Overall hostel quality is good, but main problem of hostel is less capacity of students. Most of student should stay in pg & in rooms.
