Remarks
The admission process was quite simple at that time. It was just a cutoff-based admission which went completely through the online process as it was lockdown in the nation. I did not take any entrance exam as there was no need for it. University released different cut off for different courses and colleges, I checked the cut-off and applied for SGTB Khalsa College as my 12th class percentage was just enough to qualify for the cut-off. I submitted all required documents such as a mark sheet for verification which was completely online and paid the admission fee. As soon as my documents were verified by the college I got admission. But now Delhi University has changed this procedure of admission instead of it students have to appear for CUET which is an entrance exam. I think this is a very good step taken by University as it will give equal opportunity to every student.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because there is a lot to do in this field as I was interested in Physics. Students and Teachers are very helpful. Teachers are well qualified and mannered Most of the time they are ready to help students. I can't tell about their teaching methods in offline mode because due to Covid we couldn't take offline lectures till now but their methods in online mode are fine. Exams were very timely and it was not on the harder side. A student who reads books and attends classes regularly will easily get good marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
As in Delhi University fees is low. But SGTB Khalsa College demands a bit for fees as compared to other colleges of DU. Well, I got INSPIRE Scholarship because of my good marks in the 12th board exams. There was no stipend at all.
Campus Life
There are various social groups and societies in our college. The one which I follow is Sparks which is the Physics Society of our college made by the students and Physics Teachers. We have the right to fetch every detail from our society.
