Engineering at SISTec. -Ashutosh

First of all the admission councillors says that you need a high rank in the entrance exam for admission in SISTec-GN but after a few days they will contact you and says-"Let us start your admission process" even you had not attempted any entrance exam and very bad marks in high school, also if you had good percentile in JEE then it is beneficial for you because of TFW scheme (half of the fees reduces). Yes obviously if you are from M.P. and belong to OBC/SC/ST there is scholarship support from this college.

Due to the vast demand for CS engineers, I opted for CSE in SISTec. No doubt about experiences and quality of education system as well as faculty members of SISTec, they made things easier them they seem. There is one faculty for 70 students(Offline) and one faculty for 100+ students (online mode). SISTec follows the syllabus scheme provided by "Rajiv Gandhi prodhyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya" similar to the syllabus of GATE/ISRO.

First of all, I would like to mention again "It is tiar 3 college" so only service based companies are visit here for placement. like: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. The college placement team put posters and banners of the highest package student who had placed off campus by himself out-source, but the college keeps the credit for it. but yes they have the ability to place their students at 3.5+lpa. placement percentage of students are 80%+. Be honest with yourself and not wait for a degree, instead of cracking placements. In my opinion. I will prepare myself for ISRO after my degree.

Currently in 2021 fees for B. Tech starts from 50,000. For computer science, it is 80000+ per year. And increases 5000 per year. For good marks 75+ percentile in JEE, TFW scheme is allowed for you. (50% off on your fee.) Scholarship Scheme: MP Government Scholarship program. (Not for OBC/ST/SC of other states cast certificate). For OBC: 29000 scholarships per year. For SC/ST: It is up to 65000 (plus-minus 5000) per year.

There is no curriculum like: "fest & tech fest" as it is a tier 3 college, but similar things be conducted like: "3 to 7 days of the webinar on IoT/Internet technologies". Good Library but bad qualities books(very old). Sports, Gyms and swimming pools are only for the show for newbie's admission and to attract the students from other states like Bihar. Although sports are only two days in a month and for hostelers, it is for anytime(only basketball & cricket). This college is affiliated with RGTU and accredited by NAAC.

The hostel facility is good, food mess is also neat and clean. but if you are leaving the college for any reason whether you had spent only 1 day they will force you to pay the complete hostel fee. Registration is very simple just fill a form and bonafide followed by the hostel in charge and pay the same amount in advance. it is better to rent a house near college because rent is cheaper than a hostel facility.
