The students should be passed their schooling with maths and computer as a mandatory subject. The application form will be available on the official website srmu.ac.in and candidates can also go to university for the admission process. The candidate can claim a scholarship if he/she has any National level certificate or any competitive exam result in his hand.

BCA is emerging very fastly in India after BTech and it's related to information technology that makes it a little interesting compared to BTech courses. The faculty at Ramswaroop is very good and qualified from IIT's and NIT's and teacher to students ratio is also very good. Every department has approx 15 teachers and after every semester your faculty will be changed. There will be 3 internal tests out of which you have to attend 2 tests per semester.

The college conducts seminars and webinars but if the student has to pursue an internship then he/she has to manage on his their own. But University has a policy that the students in the final year have to do an internship and submit the certificate in the department. This is done to enhance the knowledge of the student.

As soon as students enter his final year, he is eligible for sitting in every placement drive. The highest package offered was up to Rs 26 LPA. The placement percentage for the year ranged from 20 to 30 percent. The average salary stood at Rs 12 LPA, some of the top profiles offered were Research scientists, Research Scholars. The lowest package was Rs 1.80 LP. Some of the famous company comes on the campus like TATA, Infosys, Wipro, HP, Toppr, and alot more.

The fees hike occurs every year in this university but the students can avail themselves of early bird scholarships and UP government scholarships to maintain support to their financial needs for each year. The university gives very much opportunity for a job to CS/IT students and if you will prepare for the job you can easily grab a good deal in a reputed firm.

Anubhuti is the fest that is held every year in the university. The fest runs for three days which it includes star night, cultural fest, and tech day. The fest is conducted in the month of February. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University has two libraries and the Central Library contains more than 10 thousand books, so the availability of books is always open for every student. The university host a sports competition every year in which all the reputed College of Lucknow takes part. It also has several clubs to groom the students.

The hostel has three seater room and mess facilities are included in the hostel. The rooms are quite large and spacy but all the students use the common bathroom. Each floor has two bathrooms in which there are 3 Indian lavatory and 4 western lavatory, 8 shower rooms, and 6 basins. The food quality is average here and there are several restaurants from where hostelers can order food.
