Remarks

They upload the cutoffs in the du website. The application form is available on the du website and other things like application fees and dates are available on the college website. Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and relevant. It makes you industry-ready. The faculty members are also really friendly and helpful. I chose this course because I had commerce in my 12th and I have an interest in commerce and accountancy. The faculty: student ratio is around 1:30 which is quite good for a government college. The faculty is well qualified and the teaching method is interesting and not boring. The term exams are held timely and you have to submit the assignment on time to get the marks. The exams are not difficult to pass if you have read everything that you were taught in class.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internships opportunities also available in the college for bcom hons course. You can take part in those through the commerce society, and a lot of other clubs and groups in the college. Some of these internships are non-payable and some provide stipend. You have to be eligible enough to get these internships. You have to be an active student in these clubs.
Placement Experience
You can take part in the placement process during your fifth and sixth semester of college which is the last year. For bcom Hons, a number of big companies visit every year with a lot of job opportunities. The big four, Tresvista, tophire are some of the examples. The highest package offered is around 10-12 lakhs and average is 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placements is around 85%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is really good and affordable for a three-year graduate course. For bcom hons, yearly fee is around 10,000 which is quite affordable. The cost to study is not much for local students as they just to spend on college fees but if you're from another state, it gets a costlier considering the living and food costs. Different societies in college help you get the internships.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is enjoyable and entertaining. There are annual fests from different types of societies. The college library is quite big and spacious with a large number books under different genres and sections. There are different types of sports activities organised for students who are interested. There are societies and clubs run by students and you can take part in these. They are fun and knowledgeable.
Interview Experience
There were no group discussions or written tests for admission. You just have to pass the percentage eligibility criteria and a personal interview during admission. The interview is easy and irrelevant if you have enough marks. The questions are easy and simple.
