Remarks
Admission is on the basis of JEE Mains Rank and there are some reservations for students of Odisha. There are also some reservations for girls. The seat allotment process takes place on JOSSA website. The admission process is quite simple, with no complications at all. They will check your original documents at the campus at the time of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The best course I can choose with my JEE Main rank is Information Technology. Faculties are friendly. Most of the teachers are from Odisha. There are Mid Semester Exams after 45 days of Semester starting and then end semester exams after 60 days of Mid Semester Exams.
Internships Opportunities
Dell offers internship opportunities for 3rd year students with a stipend of 25000. It is a summer internship from May to August. Selection is on the basis of a hackathon followed by a technical test. There is also cgpa criteria (above 7).
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. You can check visited companies on the college website. Some of them are Tekion, Accenture, Dell. My plan is to get a job after or before getting a degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The approximate Cost to study in IIIT Bhubaneswar is 100000 per semester including Hostel fees. Tuition fees increase after every one year. Hostel fees depend on which room you choose(1 seater, 2 seaters, 3 seaters).
Campus Life
The annual fest of college is ADVAITA. There are also so many fests and events which are organised by seniors. At these events, you can witness some famous personalities. There are a lot of books in the Library related to every course. There are a dozen of social groups and clubs, for example, Tech Club, News and Publications Club.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms rent is starting from 12k per sem to 25k per sem. There are 1 seater, 2 seater and 3 seater rooms. 1 seater room is well furnished. They also provide a washing, cleaning service. They provide a table, a chair, a bed and an almirah to each student.
