IIM Bodh Gaya

The eligibility of the course is to have graduated with a minimum of 50% to write the CAT exam. The application form is available around august on the CAT website and fees vary with the category of the person.

I chose MBA because it is a platform that will give a boost to me in my carrier. With engineering and management skills I will be able to represent myself in a better way and to take decisions in the best possible way. Faculty is to student ratio is well balanced that is 1:50 during the first year and from the second year it depends on the electives one person chooses. All the faculties are well qualified and experienced. the method of teaching is really amazing and interactive. Term exams took place after every 3 months with mid-term after 1 month of starting the term.

This year IIM Bodh Gaya had the highest number of students so far and placement was at 100%. Companies like BNY Mellon, Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Dalmia Group, and many other prominent companies came for the summer placement drive. the average of the batch stood at Rs 41000/-, highest at Rs 140000/-.

The placements at the campus are really good and with time it is increasing only. The students are eligible for campus placements from the second year once they are done with their summer internships. Companies like McKinsey, TATA, KPMG, Gartner, etc are coming to place students. The placement is 100% at IIM Bodh Gaya.

The fees at the IIM's are well balanced according to the increasing scenarios and to maintain the facilities provided by the college. There are different scholarships offered by state and college as well based on category and student performance.

Due to covid, the campus was closed earlier but now it is open. The campus life is good where multiple management fest and other activities happen. Different clubs and committees keep the student life happening with internal events. The books are provided by the college which is included in the fees of the students. The amenities in the classroom are well equipped with all the things needed. There are many sports and other activities happen like section wars and inter-college competitions.

There was no group discussion during my time as the interview took place online. The pattern of the personal interview was basically about any experience, current affairs, and background. To prepare for these rounds, I took help from my friends who earlier cleared the CAT exam and are now in IIM's and gave mock interviews at one of the coaching institutes.
