Remarks

I took admission through Jee mains exam from wbjee counselling. Our college provides many scholarships. Overall the campus is beautiful and the mentors are very helpful. It is affiliated with WBUT. The facilities are decent.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are mostly PhD holder and their teaching methods are also decent. Since I am a first year student so I don't have any proper idea about the exams as I have given only one exam yet. Overall the college is quite good.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is a great opportunity for college students and our college provides placement in the 3rd year. Many companies such as TCS, WIPRO, IBM etc. Visit our campus. The average stipend was around 10,000 per month.

Placement Experience

The average package is 3 to 4 LPA and the highest package was 20LPA ( offered by Microsoft). Mass recruiters visit a lot in our college. 80 percent of the students got placement this year (2021). Overall placement is decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student credit card facilities are available. The course fee is 4 lacks 84 thousand for 4 years BTech course ( without adding any scholarship). Last year few of our seniors cracked Amazon and Microsoft. Our college provides internships too.

Campus Life

We got a free book from the college library which we had to return after the end of semester exam. The campus life is cool. The location of our college is Just perfect as it is in front of the IT hub. There are many clubs and cultural fests where you can take part and explore your talent.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
