My personal experience of SVNIT

I got addmission in online form due to COVID so it was flaw less and smooth. You just have to upload your documents at online portal of college and pay the fees. That's it you will get receipt and addmission process is complet. Of your documents. Yet for applying for fee remission is difficult. You have to provide income certificate of your father every year applying for fee remission.

About exams I have to say it is very regular and strictly taken. Pappers Re quite passable. Not that tough to just pass , but to score high cgpa like 8.5 or above 9 will be quite difficult. Faculty is quite kwnolagable. But at the end of the day you have to go for online portal for poper stidy

I will say thay not many students does intern ships in this collage. But internships are offers in wide range in svnit like tata, Adobe, Microsoft ,orpat, nokia , jio, Vodafone , Airtel and many other companies you can also apply internships in abroad.

I am planning for MTech on aerodynamics or IIT or abroad. I have no goals for a job. if I would be left with no choice then I will do a startup. actually, I am going with this because I have back of my father and brother so not advisable to do the same without backup. Although the placement of campus is very nice except mechanical.

Two scholarships are generally applied and most people apply for fee remission scholarships based on the income of their family. Eligible if family income is less than 500000/year then you have to pay 1/3rd tuition fees which are around 23000 per semester. And applicable for all the students.if less than one lakh tuition fees will be completely free. And if you are st/sc you will get an additional 15000 per year.

There are plenty of clubs for technical, social , ane across various fields. Funded by clg mostly . I am part of phoenix aero club for aero modeling. It's quite enjoying and also exausting also. But learn many things from seniors. My experience 9f senior in online for is very nice they are very supportive and help a lot , sometimes they are strict but if feel it is mentain the decorim.

Locality is also very good but not much idea of pc because hostels are very good and enouch space to sat all students. Though surat is big city and food is very good here.so I will say if you don't have to then stay in college only.
