The admission was based on JEE Main rank. No other exam is to be given. The application form, fees, and dates regarding information are updated on the JAC Chandigarh website. The result for different rounds is also uploaded there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and faculty are good. The senior faculty here is very experienced and is quite versed in their area of expertise. There are two exams one is mid sem and the other is end sem. The difficulty level of exams depends on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities available in our college are average. Students here intern in reliance, and many more. The internship is done after the end of the sixth semester. The college has a strong base of alumni.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college are more than average. Most of the students sitting for placement get placed. Companies visited are ExxonMobil, cairn oil and gas, and many more. The highest package can go up to 10 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study here is affordable. Also, financial assistance and scholarship help are provided to the students under various schemes by the university. Most of the students sitting for placements get placed.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Dr. SSBUICET has an annual cultural fest named CYANIDE. Also, there are many clubs such as dance, drama, oratory, sports, and many more. The department also has its own library along with the man library of the university AC Joshi Library.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are affordable and also have good facilities. But getting a hostel is very difficult as hostels seats are limited for each branch. But students can rent PG near the university. The hostels are to be availed by filling up a form.
