Remarks

The admission process primarily depends on the ranking of yours in JEE MAINS exam. To apply for the college you need to fill in for JAC DELHI counselling. From there on you can apply directly for the college. No, I think the admission process is just fine. As it's on the basis of your exam rank, it totally depends on how well you did or on your capabilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course provided is totally on the basis of how well you did in your JEE MAINS exam, and if you are getting a fair amount of choice will choosing the branch, you can just opt for this branch as it is a decent branch with and it's curriculum not being so tight, you'll get ample amount of time to work on yourself, you can do research work or whatever you like. The college provides you with a decent amount of opportunities. And the faculty is like how it should be in a government college. The student to faculty ratio is decent too. Exams are well paced with 2 semesters being stretched in the time period of a year.

Internships Opportunities

4

Intern opportunities are good, with more opportunities being provided to students from upper branches like CSE, IT etc. but you can opt for off campus internships, as you would not have any problem finding a decent intern for yourself off campus. On campus internships are good with companies like Google, Microsoft etc coming for on campus intern drive.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible from 7th sem onwards, with a large number of companies coming for on campus placement drives. Companies like Adobe, Expedia, google, apple, Microsoft, Texas Instruments etc visit our college on a regular note. Almost every student bags at least a package, with just a handful of exceptions. Students from top branches like Coe etc, even bags 2-3 offer letters. So overall this is a very good college if you are looking for a decent placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 206000, for 2 semesters. There are a total of 8 semesters which sums up to a total of around 8.3lakhs. For a government college, this fee is not really appropriate and there can be some relaxation in the fees. Also for those who are economically weaker, they can apply for scholarship opportunities from the state government. Which provides a scholarship of up to 100% off in your tuition fees, I.e around 1.36 lakhs scholarship and there are scholarships for department rankers for every branch.

Campus Life

4

College life overall amazing, with fest being organised on a regular basis. Moksha which is a flagship fest of NSUT is organised every year and invites various Indian and international artists and college groups to perform. The library is a decent one with a large collection of books. You will not have any difficulty finding a book for your course in the library. Classrooms are decent and well up to dated, on par with how a college classroom should be. With the new apj lecture hall being a top of the class infrastructure. There is an active sports committee that organises sports fests on a regular basis. With winter sports in the month of Jan and summer sports around august or September. There are a lot of student clubs and societies in which students can enrol. You'll have a decent interaction with your seniors, so you won't feel left out in the college.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.
