Remarks

The experience was nice. I am pretty satisfied with my college. The faculty is very good, particularly I can tell of my course i.e BCom Hons. The crowd is good. Placement cell i.e. Ignite is great. We got various internship offers too. Even in online mode college has done great.

Term exams were timely and exams were moderately difficult. Anyone who prepared well can easily score fair enough.OBE mode of examination functioned well despite there were some technical problems that are obvious.

Internships Opportunities

The digital marketing internship stipend was 4000 which was for the 2 months duration. A graphic designing internship where the stipend was 5000. Name of the projects done was PROJECT Kilkari, Project ethiyat, Excel course, Stock market course, Content Writing, Business case study quiz, Event management, Project Awaaz, Sangam rangsabha competition.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for placements. KPMG, DELOITTE, TCS are the main recruiters which come to the college for the campus placement, total offers made were 150. Talking about the packages highest was 12 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA and the average package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placements-7-8 cgpa. My Plans after graduation-Civil services preparation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were opportunities for a scholarship for students who are not financially able to pay the fees but Being a govt college fee is not high at all. Fees per year were 27000 approx. We got internship and placement offers. I had not taken a job from campus because I am preparing for Civil Services now.

Campus Life

Societies are there created by students which are Cdfsgtbkc(social entrepreneurship), Tradex(trading society), Marcell(marketing cell), Enactus (social entrepreneurship), Comsoc(commerce society), IGNITE (PLACEMENT CELL).

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
