Excellent SISTec

The admission process is quite easier than any other engineering college in Bhopal. First of all contact a councillor by visiting once at the campus or if you have 75 percentile+ in JEE MAINS then you can also apply through counselling. For OBC SC and ST category students. But if the admission process is judicious for every student it will be a nice improvement.

I choose CSE because councillors and CS faculties tales me many fantastic scopes of computer science with only advantages. Here faculty to student ratio is 1:70 in offline mode, but in online mode, it varies. Faculties of SISTec are research scholars(mostly), so no doubt about their qualifications. Exams here is 15 times easier than higher secondary school.

The placement season at campus is not evergreen but a long range of placement is there. Major recruiters are : TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. also there is pool campus with other colleges, so be don't worries. Almost 170 students get placed form 200 every year from CS branch. Average package offered here is about 4 LPA and highest is upto 15 LPA. My plan is to prepare for ISRO after getting a degree, also for backup placement is also important.

The fee is about 85000/year but if you get admission through a good faculty then it may be 75000 for you, there is a scholarship program for MP students only. For OBC: 28000, For SC: 65000+, For ST: 66000+, But it's only for students who belong to Bhopal itself and not other states.

Life at the campus is not so cool but with practice, anything can be achieved, no program like fest & tech fest is organized since it is a tier 3 college so no more expectations. The library is good and large with all the required books. Sports, gyms and swimming pool is only for hostlers only and also a showpiece for visitors and newbies to attract them for admission.

Hostel facility is above an edge, neat and clean environment with good study environment except you got mesh-up with seniors, instead that make a good image in their minds for you. Mess is excellent in terms of neat and clean but there is nothing like "menu" because they make whatever they want. It is recommended from my side to take a room in the locality by rent.
