Internships at banasthali

Since the covid pandemic has started , Application forms have been available online on the banasthali Vidyapith's website. The fees for the form for btech students is ?1200//. The forms were out by june/july . After the entrance test conducted by banasthali which was in online mode this time due to covid , the students were alloted branches according to their ranks . Students having reservation have to pay less fees . And if a student has NCC certificate , then some amount of fees is reduced . Teachers of banasthali vidyapith show recorded lectures to every batch when the classes are conducted in online mode which is a major drawback here . Live lectures are not available after the pandemic has started and we have shifted to online mode . This needs to be improved and teachers should teach students live at the time of class .

I have chosen this course because of interest in IT field . I dont know about offline classew but in online mode , faculty student ratio is 1 : 70 or 1:80 for theoretical subjects and 1:40 for practical labs . Most of the faculty are highly qualified and well experienced but way of teaching is bad in online mode because they show the recorded lectures in every batch . The exam schedule is fixed in banasthali vidyapith and I have never seen any delay in the examinations . The level of exams are moderate .

American express, google, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Wipro, etc are companies that come for internships for roles of software engineer, data analytics, UX/ UI, and cloud engineer. The stipend varies from 20000 per month to 40000 per month.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th or 8th semester depending on the branch they have taken. Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Wipro, American express, and there are many more companies who visit the campus. The average package is 5-6 lakhs and the highest package is 24 lakhs. Mostly 90% students get placed . I plan to persue masters after my btech

I would say fees structure is not that high when compared with other private colleges. I would say it is justified because there are many activites available for students like horse riding, chopper flying, swimming, gym, yoga, aerobics, gymnastic, dance, music and all sorts of sports . But students are not able to enjoy all this in online mode. Scholarship is provided only to the students who secure first position in the examination of banasthali vidyapith. Financial assistance might be given to the students whose families are not stable financially and earn less than a certain income yearly . Mostly 90% students get placed in btech . The placements are very good here .

The appaji mela is the annual fest of banasthali which takes place in November . Libraries of banasthali are the best, every educational book is available in the library for students. What makes the library of banasthali famous is the fact that one copy of the constitution of India is kept in the library of banasthali . There is also a shop also where you can purchase your own book if you want. All the basic amenities required for teaching are kept in the classroom . Banasthali is famous for five fold activites like horse riding ,chopper flying , swimming , gym , aerobic , yoga , gymnastics , music , dance , and all kinds of sports . The faculty is amazing for extra curriculars. There are many social and tech groups where students can enhance their skills like BV hackerrank , team meraki , lean in BV , team corona , BV codechef chapter and there are many more . There is also one global group present in banasthali which is GDSC and the website of GDSC are run by the college students only

A cupboard , study table , bed , personal fan , charging plugs , mirror is provided in the rooms of the hostel . Toilets and bathrooms are not provided separately in the room . Water coolers are also placed in the corridors. Meal quality and menu is very good as compared to other colleges . There is no registration process for hostel because it is compulsary to stay in the hostel if you are a student of banasthali vidyapith . The mess and hostel charges are quite affordable .
