MNIT Jaipur offers quite an offbeat course at the PG level which is different from other general Arts-related courses. M. Plan in urban planning is one of the courses which has international demand.
Course Curriculum Overview
Infrastructure industry, Transportation & Logistics planning farm want experts in this field. In the first semester Planning principles and techniques, Remote sensing Application in Urban Planning etc can be seen with practical subject like planning studio1. Electives start from second semester. From third semester internships are offered. Total cumulative credits of the course is 85.
Placement Experience
MNIT Jaipur gives placement according to the mark consistency over the year for a respective course. In 2017-18 sessions more than 431 students got a placement with the highest CTC of Rs 40LPA per annum. Average price stood at Rs 8.1 LPA. Candidates are placed in reputed companies like Capgemini, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The admission fee is Rs 1500 per semester and the exam fee is Rs 800 per semester. In the 1st and 3rd semesters other fees are taken as Rs 36,565 and Rs 18,265 respectively and in the 2nd and 4th semesters, it is taken as Rs 17,500. The tuition fee is taken as Rs 35,000 in each semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are huge grants charged by the institute as a scholarship fund. Junior Research Fellowship is given to the Ph.D students. Master degree students get scholarship of Rs 2500 per month with contingency grant of Rs 3,000 per month.
Campus Life
Campus always creates a peaceful buzz for students. They are satisfied with its infrastructures facility. Canteen food is also served to maintain health and hygiene.
Hostel Facilities
Mess advance is Rs 2,000 for new and old students which is adjusted at the time of leaving. New students have to deposit caution money of Rs 15,000 for first time allotment. Rs 12,000/semester is charged for non AC room.
Admission
2 year full-Time M. Plan program is seeking graduate candidates for it's admission. Minimum 60% marks in graduate level are required. GATE score is accepted for entrance.CCMT does the final selection.
